Anajo is an indie band from Augsburg, Germany. Its members are Oliver Gottwald (guitar and lyrics), Michael Schmidt (bass guitar) and Ingolf Nössner (drums). The band founded in early 1999 and after several demo records they released their first album in 2004 named "Nah bei mir". The band name is owed to a broken-down telly where the name of the Bud Spencer movie "Banana Joe" was badly readable.
